Your new shop items are beautiful! Here's my favorite Mother's Day memory. It was years ago when we had four young children under 8. Money was tight, but my husband was at the mall the day before and bought the LAST chocolate strawberry from a shop (I love chocolate and strawberries). He made me breakfast in bed with the help of the kids and they all sat on the bed as I ate it, all the time eyeing that lonely strawberry on my plate. I didn't have the heart to eat it in front of them, so we shared it among the five of us and I still remember the sweet looks on their faces.

Every Mother's Day that I get to spend with my mother and my grandmother are special. They are the two most important women in my life, and I try to let them know that every day :)

All the goodies look amazing!

Mother's Day was always fun for us because my dad always made such a big deal out of it. I can't say I have one memory but he always let my other-wise-busy mom sleep in while he got donuts and picked out flowers for her. We enjoyed that as kids. Kids should always get to see their parents adore each other.

Love the jewelry. My favorite mothers day memory, is making my mom breakfast in bed. We always treated my mom like a queen on mothers day. We would fix breakfast and put it on a tray and served her in bed.

Mother's Day is always special. We would let my Mom sleep late and my brothers and I would bring breakfast to her in bed. We would also make three cakes one for Mom and the other two for each of my gramdmother's. That was the day we would get to eat three times in one day.

Hugs :)

Heather, what a lovely bracelet!! My favorite Mother's Day memory is from last year. My husband bought one of those recordable greeting cards, and got my DS5 and DD2 (ages last year) to say "Happy Mother's Day, Mama!!" It was so sweet and I could hear the love in their little voices. I still have the card and we listen to it often. I love my little peeps!! :o)

All the new goodies look scrumptious! And what a great giveaway.
The Mother's Day that sticks out the most for me right now is a few years back and Hubby surprised me with a visit to a local antique/garden/junk store in Panama City called "Shady Oaks". He also had called his own mother and invited her along since she & I have similar taste. Each of us were allowed to pick out our special gift, mine being a beautiful handmade set of windchimes. And even to this day, they are happily making beautiful music on our back porch!
Thanks for reminding me of this!

Ooooh....love those pretty bracelets!

My fav Mother's day memory is a rather odd one....I actually got my first period on Mother's day! LOL Here in Minnesota the fishing opener is always on Mother's Day weekend, so it was just us "girls" home: Mom, Aunty Dolly, my sister, and I. Mom and Aunty Dolly beamed and laughed and teased me about "being a woman now" all weekend and went and bought pads,Pamprin, and ice cream.

Smiles, Karen

I soooo love looking at your creations.. you are so inspiring. My favorite Mother's Day was back in 1998. My husband had brought home an old wagon that had been used by his grandfather. He wanted to display it in our yard, which I loved the idea, but, it was just the metal frame..no sides or bottom. Out of the blue I said"this would make a great flower bed if it had the bottom & sides". This was one week before Mom's day..with the help of our son & daughter they turned that wagon into the most beautiful flower "wagon" and put a bright yellow bow on it. I was crying with joy!! I will always cherish that day.

What a fun giveaway, I just adore these bracelets!! My fave Mother's Day memory was my first one spent as a mother myself. We went through years of infertility so when we finally became parents it was the best feeling in the world. Have an awesome day!

I have some wonderful mother's day memories...especially when my children were in preschool. They made me some precious homemade gifts with their own little hands...like a painted handprint, a puzzle piece picture frame and a macaroni covered tissue box painted gold. All of them lovingly given to me with a smooch and breakfast in bed!
Thanks for offering the giveaway!

My favorite all time Mother's Day memory came just a month after my late husband passed away. My boys were 5 and 1 and it was so precious. My 5 year old told my Mom that he and his brother needed to go buy me a present. He took his piggy bank and they picked a childs ring set with five, great big, bubble gum style rings with jewels of all different colors so "I would always have one to wear with each outfit I had!" They wrapped it and made me a card and gave it to me with the biggest smile on their little faces. They were so proud! I still have the card and all 5 rings to this day. It was the best present ever.

When I was young, my brother and I lived in a farm like setting. Our house was surrounded by fruit trees. I remember gathering BAGS full of blooms from the trees to gift to my mom for Mother's day. It was quite a project!

My mom was my best friend. She died a year and a half ago-shortly before her 92 birthday. She had me late- I was her surprise. And She was mine!!

I work at a cute little shop in Snohomish, Washington-Joyworks. And we sell a lot of fun things. Signage is BIG these days and we have sold one sign for a while that says, "Live a Good life."

It was never so poignant until my mother passed away and I looked at that sign and thought-That was MY mom! "Live a Good Life." She always did- she loved and learned and appreciated and GAVE of herself to everyone she met!! She was a "MOM" to me of course, but when she passed and others learned about it, they repeatedly told me how much they admired and loved her. "She was like the mom I never had/I wish I'd had/my inspiration.
I felt SO blessed by these admissions, knowing that she WAS my mom and had touched so many others.
Now, I'm Mom to my kids, but I take in "strays" and try and help them with development and self esteem. I learned that from my Mom,,,,,,,,,she was the
"Bestest," as we all said.
I miss her-But I am SO prould of the woman she was!!!

My favorite Mother's Day memory was the year my daughter was born. After 13 years of marriage and many trials and tribulations of trying and finally suceeding in the pregnancy department, I was finally able to gaze at my daughter and understand the depth of feeling that is motherhood! She makes me feel special every day of the year!
*smiles*
Happy Mother's Day Heather!

Heather...such LOVELY jewelries you've fashioned! Amazing job, too, BTW on your Marie Antoinette canvas! I saw it on Dede's site and was blown away!

My fave Mother's Day memory? Not yet being a mother myself, I have to think WAY back to when I was a child... It's probably pretty typical, but I always loved making Mother's day cards. I don't know why we never thought to make Mom a card any other time than Mother's Day. But, I guess in a little kid's mind, you just don't think of that! Even back then I really LOVED getting creative--I'd spend all day on the "PERFECT" card. Mom would inevitably smile and say it was the prettiest card she'd ever seen...even though I'm quite certain it was clearly NOT the prettiest ANYTHING she'd ever seen!

Your jewelry is just lovely..I would be so lucky to own a piece. One of my most favorite Mother's Day memories is from a few years back. All of the kids in my daughter's class made a book about why their mom was the best. They each listed 3 reasons why. My daughter's list read : 1. She kisses my hursies(hurtsies) when they hurt even if they have blood on them. 2. She buys me candy.
3. She is the best cooker in the world.

Underneath the list she drew a picture of me and her going to a garage sale...lol. I still take out that book and look through it to remind myself how lucky I am.

A memorable Mother's Day was 4 years ago when my son and daughter-in-law were living in a little farm house on our property. They had just delivered my first grandchild to me, and we were all living happily on a beautiful farm. Then, on that fateful Mother's Day, while my husband, daughter and I were at church, my son's pit bull attacked my chihuahua. It was shocking since the two had spent years together and loved each other. After some frantic phone calls, we all met at the emergency vet's office, 50 miles away. It was horrifying. Little Stinky Pete was not expected to live. Happily, the fabulous vet and staff were able to save Pete and we all celebrated Mother's Day. (Even Keila, although she didn't get to celebrate much longer than that.) I'll never forget that Mother's Day but I have requested that we keep the drama to a minimum from here on out.

I am married to a wonderful but very non-romantic boy. One year he completely surprised me by packing a diamond ring on our trip. I was thrilled. Mostly that he remembered me.

I have been obsessed with the color peach lately (you can see on my blog) and I LOVE your beautiful bracelet. Very nice thing for you to do.
