Breakfast at Tiffany's
Here is my comment : ). Hi!!!
My favorite costume was a witch.
Hi Heather,
Thanks for a chance to win!
I just placed an order in your shop, but I know I won't have any problem finding more wonderful things (if I win).
My favorite costume was when I was 6, I dressed as Mary Poppins.
enJOY a lovely week,
Kimberly
My tiger costume was my favorite!!!!!
Trick or treat!
Xoxo
When I was in 5th grade I was a black cat. I had the most beautiful sequined silver and black mask and I'm slightly heartbroken that it was lent out and never returned. :( Also loved the Cleopatra costume my mom made in 6th grade when I was obsessed with ancient Egypt. :)
Funnily enough, I wrote a post about my Bugs Bunny costume from 1975. Read all about it here, if you like:

I grew up in England in the 50's and 60's and at that time Halloween wasn't celebrated, we had 'Bonfire night, Nov. 5th'. When I came to Canada I was too old for Halloween but my younger brothers and sister dressed up and went trick or treating. We were quite shocked at all the kids that came to our house for candy. We ran out of candy after the first 100 kids and then my mum was in the kitchen frantically making popcorn to give to all the other kids that came. What a nig ht, it was so much fun.
My mom use to make all my costumes and they were all so sweet. My favorite was a china doll.
I love reading about all the costumes! My favorite childhood costume was when my mom made me a peanut M&M package costume! She took an old used up Slip-n-Slide, folded it over and stapled down the sides (leaving arm holes), cut a neck hole, and using brown packing tape, made the M&M logo & words on the package. I *loved* that costume! I wore it a few years in a row, as long as I could... :)
How generous, Heather! My favorite costume as a child was being a gypsy. It was even better because Halloween is my birthday so my Mom always had a party for me and I remember having great times {pre-themes and all the planning that goes on nowadays!}.
Probably Princess Leia, complete with hair buns and all. :)
My Cinderella costume when I was 10 was my fave! It was actually my mother's prom dress from the 1960s. She was a tiny little thing back then because it fit me perfectly! My friend across the street went as my fairy godmother.
Thanks for the chance to win!
my favorite costume was Raggedy Ann when I was 3! I only remember it through an old photo but it was so cute! have a great Halloween Heather! xo nat
Hi Heather! One of my fave costumes was when my dad made my sister and I outhouses out of boxes. He cut a moon shape out so we could see and made a slanted roof. Only I was mad because I had to be the Mens and my sister got to be the Ladies because she was younger! Happy Halloween! Marti

Oh Fun Heather!
My Favorite Halloween was, duh,,,,the year I was a Princess! You're younger than me, so you probably don't remember when we bought these whole Costumes/Characters in a Box back in the 60's....The hard plastic total face mask,,,and the "gown" that had two little ties in the Back......I DID Have extra jewelry to wear, though.....
We lived waaaayyyyyyy out in the Country then and we walked a LONG way between houses, with no parents,,,,,just pillowcases and flashlights,,,And we got BIG Candy Bars, Home made Carmel apples and some neighbors made us do "Tricks" for our Treats,,,,,I think I did Cartwheels.....LOL
I think this is my Sunday post,,,and I'll mention your Giveaway!!
I grew up in Germany and at that time, long long ago, lol, Halloween celebrations were unheard of. But we had other opportunities to dress up in costumes and my favourite one was a Hungarian peasant folklore outfit which my mom made for me. I loved it.
Definitely a Witch! could do that costume every year and never tire of it. Thanks for a chance to win a great prize.
The only costumes we had when I was a child were the kind you bought with the plastic face masks that would get all sweaty when you breathed in them. I think I was a princess one year and liked that. But my favorite costumes were some I made for my sons. We didn't do Halloween when they were young but a friend did have an annual fall costume party, and one year the theme was fairy tale characters. My two boys were Robin Hood and Little John, with tunics and hats made of green felt. Fun!
Thanks for the giveaway!

My favorite Halloween costume was a recycled peach hoop-skirt dress that I wore as Little Bo Peep with an old wooden cane and stuffed sheep.
Favorite costume: Chimney sweep with top hat, smudges all over and gloves with the fingers cut off. It kind of had the "Artful Dodger" from "Oliver" look. Your October update is full of wonderful items! - Amy Bauer amy.bauer416@gmail.com

One year my mom was sick so my older brother "helped" me with my costume. It was the worst clown ever but it got me lots of candy. I'm pretty sure it's because they thought I made it myself and felt really sorry for me. Plus. never a good idea to use your mom's red lipstick for makeup.
My favorite when I was little was a black cat. I know...fairly boring, but MAN did I love that costume! LOL!
My favorite childhood costume was a witch. I think I was always fascinated by the spooky look. Halloween is still my favorite holiday.
Oh wow - love your shop and your blog too.
My favorite halloween costume was my plastic wonder woman with the plastic mask...I thought those types of costumes were so awesome and looked forward to getting a new one each year. Who would of thunk they would be collectors items now.

prize in our little
village parade.
:)
happy day to you!
I use to love to dress up like a Gypsy, and did it many times, because it was always an easy costume. Just put on one of my mom's skirts and lots of beads around the neck and a scarf on the head.
Thanks for a chance to win.
my best friends and I were totem poles made from old refrigerator boxes...only problem was we had to walk in teeny baby steps. I tripped over a shrub and rolled right down a big hill. We had a blast!
lovely give away!
my favorite costume was a fairy godmother.... it gives a chance to grant wishes, so fun.
